Manon Fiorot and Alexa Grasso meet in a high-level flyweight matchup that could determine who gets the next opportunity at UFC gold. Both women have already shared the Octagon with Valentina Shevchenko. Fiorot pushed the champion over five rounds before losing a unanimous decision, while former champion Grasso built an entire rivalry with Shevchenko across three title fights.
They have since responded with impressive first-round wins. Fiorot stopped Jasmine Jasudavicius in October 2025, while Grasso destroyed Maycee Barber in March 2026.
The matchup itself is fascinating. Fiorot wants space, long kicking exchanges and a controlled pace. Grasso needs to work through that range and create opportunities with her boxing and grappling.
Can the former champion consistently get close enough to make Fiorot uncomfortable? Here is our Manon Fiorot vs Alexa Grasso prediction, along with the latest odds and best bets.
One win away from another title shot?
There is plenty at stake for both former title challengers. Fiorot entered her fight with Shevchenko on a seven-fight UFC winning streak before suffering only the second loss of her professional career. She immediately bounced back by stopping Jasudavicius in the opening round.
Grasso’s path has been more turbulent. She submitted Shevchenko to become champion in 2023, fought her to a draw in the rematch and then lost the belt in their third meeting. A decision loss to Natalia Silva followed, but her first-round win over Barber put her straight back into the flyweight title conversation.
That makes this matchup feel like a genuine title eliminator. There is also a compelling stylistic contrast. Fiorot brings size, karate-based kickboxing, range management and constant movement. Grasso is one of the division’s sharpest combination boxers and remains dangerous whenever a scramble gives her access to the back.

Manon Fiorot vs Alexa Grasso odds
Fiorot is currently priced around -215 to -240, with Grasso available between +172 and +195. Fiorot reportedly opened close to -300, while Grasso could initially be backed around +245. Money has since arrived on the Mexican underdog, bringing the line considerably closer.
Fiorot has the physical and stylistic advantages that justify favoritism, but Grasso has enough boxing, toughness and grappling ability to make -300 difficult to justify.
The distance market heavily favors a decision, with over/going the distance around -250 to -280. Fiorot by decision has been available from approximately -110 to +110, while Grasso by decision sits around +350.
Anyone expecting Grasso to exploit Fiorot on the mat can find her submission prop between +650 and +800.
Can Manon Fiorot she keep Grasso on the outside?
Fiorot’s greatest strength is not simply her striking. It is her ability to dictate where those striking exchanges happen. Her footwork, kicking game and distance management make her an exceptionally difficult opponent to pressure cleanly. She constantly forces opponents to reset before they can establish their own offense.
That was evident against Rose Namajunas and Erin Blanchfield. Fiorot was able to accumulate offense without repeatedly exposing herself to prolonged exchanges in the pocket. Her loss to Shevchenko also deserves context. Fiorot remained competitive across five rounds against one of the most accomplished fighters in women’s MMA.
Still, there are openings for Grasso. Fiorot looks less comfortable when an opponent successfully crosses her kicking range and turns the fight into a boxing exchange. Her defensive reactions can become less convincing when she is forced backward at close range.
There are also questions if Grasso can get the fight to the floor. Fiorot’s game is built primarily around striking, and extended grappling exchanges would give Grasso a completely different route to winning rounds. The problem is getting there. Fiorot should have the early advantage while Grasso tries to solve the distance.
Fiorot needs to stay disciplined. Long kicks, lateral movement and straight punches should make Grasso work every time she wants to close the distance. If Fiorot avoids extended pocket exchanges and keeps the majority of the fight in open space, she should be able to build a lead on volume.
Can her Alexa Grassoβs boxing break Fiorot’s rhythm?
Grasso may be the underdog, but she possesses exactly the type of weapons that can turn this into an uncomfortable fight for Fiorot. Her boxing is the biggest one.
Grasso throws sharp combinations, does excellent work once opponents are within punching range and has enough accuracy to punish defensive mistakes. Her first-round win over Barber was another reminder that she can capitalize immediately when an opponent gives her an opening.
She is also exceptionally difficult to discourage. That could matter against Fiorot. Natalia Silva presented Grasso with a similarly difficult puzzle built around movement and kicking from range. Grasso continued pressing forward even while absorbing clean kicks and trying to shorten the distance.
She may need a similar mentality here. The biggest question is whether she can do enough damage once she reaches Fiorot. Grasso cannot afford to spend entire rounds following the Frenchwoman around the Octagon. She needs to turn successful entries into combinations, clinch exchanges or takedown attempts.
Her submission game adds another layer. Grasso famously submitted Shevchenko with a rear-naked choke, and any scramble could provide an opportunity to attack Fiorot’s back. Grasso needs to gradually push Fiorot toward the fence, step through the kicking range and force exchanges where her boxing becomes more influential. Mixing in takedown attempts would also prevent Fiorot from becoming too comfortable at distance.
Manon Fiorot vs Alexa Grasso prediction
I expect Fiorot to have the cleaner start. Her size, movement and kicking range should be difficult for Grasso to read immediately. Fiorot can attack the legs and body while moving laterally and forcing Grasso to chase.
The fight should become more competitive as it develops. Grasso has repeatedly shown that she can absorb adversity and continue pushing forward. Once she becomes more comfortable with Fiorot’s timing, her boxing should start producing opportunities at closer range.
That is where the danger lies for the favorite. Grasso could hurt Fiorot during a pocket exchange, and a wobble could quickly become a grappling sequence where the former champion attacks the back. Even a takedown followed by several minutes of top control could completely change a close round.
But those moments may not happen frequently enough. Fiorot’s ability to control range should allow her to dictate the majority of the fight. Grasso will have success, particularly as the fight progresses, but Fiorot should land enough from distance and avoid enough dangerous exchanges to stay ahead on the scorecards.
A competitive 29-28 decision looks like the most likely outcome. And womenβs fights are notoriously hard to make UFC predictions for, so this might me one of my least confident picks on the card.

Best bets for Manon Fiorot vs Alexa Grasso
The Fiorot moneyline becomes less appealing once it approaches -240. There is enough danger in Grasso’s boxing and submission game that laying that type of price does not offer much margin for error.
The better angle is Fiorot by decision. Prices around -110 to +110 offer a significant improvement over the moneyline while matching the most likely way Fiorot wins this fight. Her style is built around controlling distance and accumulating rounds rather than aggressively hunting finishes.
The fight to go the distance at -250 to -280 also makes sense stylistically, but the price is difficult to recommend as a standalone bet.
For UFC bettors looking for a bigger underdog prop, Grasso by submission at +650 to +800 is the most interesting alternative. Fiorot should win the majority of the striking exchanges, but Grasso only needs one scramble or defensive mistake to create a submission opportunity.
Safest Bet: Manon Fiorot by Decision (-110 to +110)
Value Longshot: Alexa Grasso by Submission (+650 to +800)
