WATCH: Arman Tsarukyan throws Urijah Faber off the stage in RAF 8

Arman Tsarukyan delivered another dominant performance in the RAF 8 main event, but the match took a wild turn when he quite literally drove Urijah Faber off the stage.

Tsarukyan had already built a clear lead, going up 8-1 after scoring early points. From there, he locked onto a single leg and pushed forward, looking to secure a takedown that would have sealed the match.

Tsarukyan continued driving through the position, forcing Faber backward until they went over the stage entirely. Both athletes crashed over the commentary area and landed on the floor below in one of the most chaotic sequences seen in recent wrestling events.

Luckily, neither man was injured, and the match was able to continue.

Izzy Martinez was not happy!

The moment quickly went viral, but not everyone appreciated how it played out.

RAF executive Izzy Martinez voiced his frustration afterward, making it clear he did not approve of the situation.

β€œI don’t like it. I don’t like that,”

β€œYou might as well punch him so he can protect himself. Pushing a guy off the stage is pretty dirty to me and I’m not a big fan of that.”

β€œBut I don’t have to like everything. It’s a promotional thing and it is what it is.”

Uriah’s reaction

Fortunately, Urijah Faber escaped without injury and was able to respond shortly after the event. In a post on Instagram, he praised Tsarukyan’s talent while pointing out what he believes is a lack of control.

β€œHe’s got all the makings of a Champion…except for self control 🀣 Spoiled Kid for life. Congrats (Arman) too much cushion for a hospital visit”

Arman’s reaction

For his part, Tsarukyan focused on the outcome and the exposure the moment generated. He was relieved that Faber avoided injury after the fall but also recognized the impact of the viral clip.

β€œThank god, Urijah didn’t get hurt and we went viral,” Tsarukyan said. β€œWe need that.”
