Jake Paul may still be recovering from the most damaging loss of his boxing career, but he is already teasing a return against one of the sport’s biggest names.

The social media star turned boxer has not resumed sparring since suffering a broken jaw in his knockout loss to Anthony Joshua last December in Miami. Questions continue to surround Paul’s future in combat sports as he waits to learn whether doctors will fully clear him to compete again.

Despite that uncertainty, Paul appears focused on making a massive comeback if he returns to the ring.

Paul revisits Canelo talks after failed mega-fight

During a recent interview discussing his health and boxing future, Paul revealed that discussions with Canelo Alvarez may have quietly resumed.

The two were previously linked to a blockbuster Cinco de Mayo weekend fight in Las Vegas last year. Negotiations reportedly advanced to the point where contracts had already been prepared.

The matchup eventually collapsed after influential Saudi boxing figure Turki Alalshikh secured Alvarez for a major multi-fight agreement that included a showdown with Terence Crawford.

At the time, many fans dismissed the possibility of Paul sharing the ring with Alvarez. But recent developments may have changed the conversation.

Paul teases massive offer in behind-the-scenes footage

Following Alvarez’s loss to Crawford, Paul suggested the timing could now be right to revisit the idea.

In a video posted by his media company Betr, Paul shared footage connected to the renewed talks and directly addressed Alvarez with a staggering financial proposal.

“$200 million dollars for you,” Paul says at one point in the video.

“This is the biggest fight that can be made in boxing.”

Paul also claimed the Mexican superstar responded positively during a private conversation.

“Canelo said he’s down on the phone.”
