The UFC’s return to Macau delivered exactly what fight fans were hoping for. From the opening prelims to the main event, the card was packed with finishes, highlight-reel knockouts, and breakout performances. Nearly every fight on the main card ended before the judges were needed, creating one of the most entertaining Fight Night events of the year.
While the action inside the cage rarely disappointed, Chinese fighters struggled throughout the event. They suffered defeat after defeat as international competitors spoiled the party.
That left the pressure squarely on Song Yadong’s shoulders in the main event. With the local fans desperate for a victory, Song stepped up when it mattered most and delivered a statement performance to close the show.
