Justin Gaethje won the UFC lightweight title at Freedom 250. Now, he could be adding a new set of wheels to his celebration.
After cashing a reported $5.7 million bet on Gaethje’s upset victory over Ilia Topuria, Arman Tsarukyan says he plans to buy the new champion a Ram truck.
Gaethje Already Knows What He Wants
Gaethje admitted in media day that his current truck has seen better days and didn’t hesitate when asked what he’d like as a gift.
“I need a new truck.”
“I’ll take a Ram. I’m due for a new truck. My truck is a 2020. I bought it when I beat Tony Ferguson, and it’s got about 65,000 miles on it, so send it.”
Tsarukyan Is Following Through
Tsarukyan says the promise is real and revealed that he’s already discussing the details with Gaethje.
“Of course. I just checked what color he wants.”
“I’m competing on July 18 in St. Louis, and after that, I’m going to bring him a truck. … Dana White said Ram, so I’m going to get him a Ram.”
Tsarukyan even joked that being a UFC sponsor might help lower the price.
“Ram is a UFC official sponsor, so maybe they will give me a discount, 15 or 10 percent.”
“But if they don’t, it’s okay, it’s not that expensive.”
