One of the UFC’s most successful talent pipelines is set for another chapter.

Dana White’s Contender Series will kick off its 10th season on Aug. 11, marking the show’s first season under the UFC’s new broadcast partnership with Paramount+.

New Platform, Same Path to the UFC

The opening event is scheduled for Aug. 11 at 8 p.m. ET and will feature five bouts as aspiring fighters compete for the opportunity to earn UFC contracts.

Season 10 will consist of 10 episodes, with new installments airing every Tuesday night on Paramount+.

Since its launch in 2017, the Contender Series has become one of the promotion’s most important scouting platforms. The format remains simple: prospects enter the cage, put their skills on display, and attempt to impress UFC CEO Dana White enough to secure a spot on the roster.

Future Champions Started Here

Over the years, the series has helped launch the careers of several elite fighters who later climbed to the top of the sport.

Sean O’Malley, Jamahal Hill, Jack Della Maddalena, and Carlos Ulberg all earned UFC opportunities through the program before eventually capturing championship gold.

The show has also produced a long list of notable contenders and rising stars, including Lone’er Kavanagh, Kevin Vallejos, Jacobe Smith, David Martinez, Ateba Gautier, Quillan Salkilld, Payton Talbott, Jean Silva, Carlos Prates, Josh Hokit, Mauricio Ruffy, Kevin Holland, Caio Borralho, Brendan Allen, and Joe Pyfer.

Fight Card Yet to Be Revealed

The UFC has not officially announced the matchups for the season premiere.

Those details are expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks as the promotion finalizes the opening card.

With another wave of prospects preparing to chase their UFC dreams, Season 10 promises to continue the tradition of introducing the sport’s next generation of talent.
