Roberto Soldic is officially looking for his next MMA home. The former KSW two-division champion announced Friday that his contract with ONE Championship has expired, making the 31-year-old fighter a free agent.
Soldic joined ONE with significant momentum after building one of the strongest records in European MMA. His time with the promotion, however, produced only three fights between 2021 and 2025.
Soldic Closes the Door on ONE Championship
Soldic’s most recent MMA appearance came in February 2025, when he delivered a brutal knockout of Dagi Arslanaliev at ONE 171. The Croatian landed a clean punch that sent Arslanaliev face-first to the canvas.
Before that victory, Soldic suffered a knockout loss to Zebaztian Kadestam and fought Murad Ramazanov to a no contest.
His most recent combat sports appearance came outside MMA. Soldic returned to boxing in September 2025 and stopped Tomasz Adamek in Poland. Now, his ONE Championship run has officially come to an end.
“Thank you for the journey.”
“My time with ONE has come to an end as my contract has officially expired. I want to thank ONE Championship from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity and the incredible experience.”
Soldic also thanked the fans who supported him throughout his run with the promotion.
“I’ve gained more than just fights — I’ve gained knowledge, respect, and memories that will last a lifetime. To my fans, thank you for your unconditional support through every high and low. You are the reason I keep fighting.”
A Proven Champion in KSW
Before signing with ONE, Soldic established himself as one of Europe’s top MMA fighters. He won eight of his nine fights in KSW and captured championships at both welterweight and middleweight. His only setback came against Dricus Du Plessis, who would later become a UFC champion.
Soldic quickly got another opportunity against Du Plessis and made the most of it. Six months after suffering the knockout defeat, he stopped Du Plessis in their rematch to reclaim the KSW welterweight title. With his ONE contract now expired, Soldic is free to explore the next chapter of his career.
