Tommy McMillen will not have to wait long for his next UFC opportunity.
The undefeated prospect has been booked for a quick turnaround at Noche UFC, where he will meet fellow unbeaten fighter Marwan Rahiki on September 12 in Glendale, Arizona.
The matchup was announced by UFC broadcast partner Paramount+ on social media.
McMillen Gets His Home-State Opportunity
McMillen had been pushing for a spot on the Noche UFC card after making a statement in his most recent appearance.
The 28-year-old delivered a record-setting performance against Alberto Montes at UFC Oklahoma City in July. That win earned him another chance to compete just weeks later.
McMillen has quickly built momentum since joining the UFC.
He earned his contract on Dana Whiteโs Contender Series last September. In his promotional debut at UFC Vegas 115 in April, McMillen stopped Manolo Zecchini in the opening round.
The fighter known as โGunโ now faces his toughest challenge yet.
Rahiki Brings Finishing Power
Rahiki has also made an immediate impression since arriving in the UFC.
The 24-year-old has opened his Octagon career with back-to-back stoppage victories. He finished Harry Hardwick before adding another stoppage against Ollie Schmid.
That aggressive approach has helped Rahiki quickly attract attention among UFC fans.
Now he gets his first matchup against another undefeated prospect.
Both fighters enter the contest with momentum and a reputation for looking for the finish. With McMillen also competing in his home state, the stakes should be high when they meet in Glendale.
Jean Silva Headlines Noche UFC
McMillen vs. Rahiki joins a card led by a featherweight showdown between Jean Silva and Yair Rodriguez.
The Noche UFC event will take place on September 12 in Glendale, giving McMillen another opportunity to build his name on one of the UFCโs biggest annual cards.
