Former UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg is once again calling for a showdown with Ronda Rousey. This time, she says she would take on both Rousey and Gina Carano on the very same night.

Cyborg made the comments after attending MVP MMA’s debut event on Netflix, where Rousey returned to competition for the first time in nearly 10 years and submitted Carano in just 17 seconds.

Cris Cyborg was not impressed by the performance!

The longtime feud between Cyborg and Rousey has existed for years without ever turning into an actual fight. After watching Rousey’s quick finish over Carano, Cyborg threw out another challenge during an interview with Fight Hub TV.

“What do you guys think? Tell me what you guys think. Same day, both together. I’m ready. Let’s do it.”

Cyborg has already shared the cage with Carano before. The two headlined a historic Strikeforce card in 2009, where Cyborg stopped Carano by TKO to become the promotion’s inaugural women’s featherweight champion.

A fight with Rousey, however, never materialized despite years of fan demand and public callouts.

Cyborg expected quick finish in Rousey comeback

Many viewers were disappointed by how fast the fight ended. The matchup lasted less than half a minute, with Rousey immediately taking Carano down before securing her trademark armbar.

Cyborg said the result was exactly what she anticipated heading into the event.

“I already knew this. Gina 17 years without fighting. This is the person that Ronda Rousey chose.”.

Gina Carano had not stepped into an MMA cage since her final fight back in 2009. Rousey, meanwhile, entered the bout after nearly a decade away from the sport following losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes in the UFC.

Cris Cyborg focused on PFL title defense

While Cyborg continues to mention super fights, her immediate plans remain tied to the PFL. The Brazilian veteran confirmed she is preparing for another title defense and is also interested in returning to boxing.

“I’m ready for my next fight, it’s going to be in PFL, a real fight for the title defense. I’m excited too for maybe my next boxing fight. Let’s do it.”

At 40 years old, Cris Cyborg still holds one of the most accomplished résumés in the history of women’s MMA.  She has captured championships across multiple major promotions, including Strikeforce, UFC, Bellator and PFL and remains active in both MMA and boxing competition.
