Former UFC middleweight Claudio Ribeiro was arrested Wednesday in Varzea Paulista, Sao Paulo, Brazil, on a domestic violence charge.
Police Investigating Alleged Assault
According to an initial report from Globo, Ribeiro allegedly admitted to police that he assaulted his wife following an argument. Authorities said she suffered a broken nose after being punched in the face. Ribeiro’s team declined to comment.
Former UFC Fighter Active in Karate Combat
Ribeiro fought in the UFC from 2023 to 2024, posting a 1-3 record. Since late 2025, he has competed in Karate Combat, where he is 3-0 with three knockout victories.
