Khamzat Chimaev is pushing for another shot at UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland.

The former titleholder recently took to Instagram and suggested that Strickland is avoiding a rematch following their title fight at UFC 328, where Strickland handed Chimaev the first loss of his professional career.

Chimaev Says He’s Ready

Sharing photos from their championship clash, Chimaev issued a direct message to the reigning champion.

โ€œSomeone is running, I’m ready, just tell me where and when I’ll be there.โ€

Chimaev won the middleweight belt by defeating Dricus Du Plessis before losing it to Strickland in his first title defense.

Strickland Recovering From Injury

Strickland has previously revealed that he is recovering from a shoulder injury and hopes to return later this year. While he has continued to take verbal shots at Chimaev, he has not publicly addressed a potential rematch.

The title picture remains crowded, with former champions Dricus Du Plessis and Kamaru Usman also in the mix following their matchup at UFC Oklahoma City.
