Michael Page is moving back up to middleweight for his next UFC appearance. The UFC announced Wednesday that Page (25-3 MMA, 4-1 UFC) will take on Nursulton Ruziboev (37-9-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 287 on Sept. 5 at the Accor Arena in Paris, France.
Two Winning Streaks Collide
Page enters the matchup on a three-fight winning streak, most recently earning a decision victory over Sam Patterson in March. The former Bellator star also owns recent wins over Jared Cannonier and Shara Magomedov.
Ruziboev has also won three straight fights since returning to middleweight. He last competed in June, submitting Andrey Pulyaev in the opening round at UFC Fight Night 280.
The bout pits two surging contenders against each other as they look to continue their climb in the UFC’s middleweight division.
