Mansur Abdul-Malik enters UFC 330 looking to answer the first major question of his young career. After suffering his first professional defeat against Yousri Belgaroui in March, the explosive middleweight prospect now gets a very different test against UFC veteran Dustin Stoltzfus. Here are my official Mansur Abdul-Malik vs Dustin Stoltzfus predictions.
What will Abdul Malik look like after his first defeat?
Abdul-Malik is 9-1-1 and remains one of the more physically gifted prospects at 185 pounds. Stoltzfus brings a 16-8 record, considerably more experience and the type of toughness that can make life uncomfortable for younger fighters.
The UFC betting market does not expect this to be particularly close. Abdul-Malik is one of the biggest favorites on the UFC 330 card, while Stoltzfus enters after consecutive decision losses.
But after watching Abdul-Malik take a lot of damage in his first career defeat, there is at least one important question hanging over this matchup: How does he respond when things stop going his way?
Mansur Abdul-Malik vs Dustin Stoltzfus odds
Abdul-Malik opened around -530 to -550 UFC odds before money continued to arrive on the favorite. He is now available around -650 (1.15), with Stoltzfus sitting at approximately +475 (5.75). That gives Abdul-Malik an implied probability of roughly 87%.
| Fighter | Moneyline |
| Mansur Abdul-Malik | -650 (1.15) |
| Dustin Stoltzfus | +475 (5.75) |
Paying -650 on a fighter coming off his first professional loss is difficult to justify from a betting perspective. Fortunately, the method-of-victory markets offer more interesting options.
Abdul-Malik by KO/TKO is hovering around even money, while his decision prop is approximately +200. The market also strongly favors a finish, with the fight to end inside the distance priced around -200.

Mansur Abdul-Malik needs to prove he can rebound
Until his last two appearances, Abdul-Malik’s fighting career had been built around violence. He stopped DuΕ‘ko TodoroviΔ with a knee and punches in the first round before destroying Antonio TrΓ³coli with punches in another first-round finish. Even before reaching the UFC, Abdul-Malik’s explosiveness was obvious on the Contender Series.
Then things became considerably more complicated. His fight with Cody Brundage ended in a majority draw after the original result was overturned, and Yousri Belgaroui handed Abdul-Malik his first professional defeat in March.
That loss matters here. Belgaroui didn’t simply catch Abdul-Malik with one lucky shot. Abdul-Malik was forced into a difficult fight, absorbed plenty of punishment and was eventually stopped in the third round.
We have seen plenty of exciting prospects look different after suffering their first serious defeat. Some immediately fix their mistakes and continue climbing. Others become hesitant once they realize their physical advantages cannot solve every problem.
That makes Abdul-Malik’s mentality almost as interesting as his skill set at UFC 330. From a purely physical perspective, he should have enormous advantages over Stoltzfus. Abdul-Malik is younger, faster, more explosive and considerably more dangerous offensively.
He also has multiple ways to attack. He can throw conventional combinations, but he is equally comfortable launching flying knees, spinning attacks and other explosive strikes that most middleweights simply cannot produce. Against Stoltzfus, that unpredictability could be particularly important.

Can Dustin Stoltzfus turn this into a dog fight?
Stoltzfus is not going to win many athletic comparisons against Abdul-Malik. He is noticeably slower, his footwork can look heavy and his reactions defensively have never been particularly sharp. That is concerning against someone capable of suddenly exploding forward with a flying knee or spinning attack.
But Stoltzfus has qualities that are much harder to measure. He is experienced, persistent and willing to fight through ugly situations. He has spent considerably more time dealing with adversity inside the Octagon than Abdul-Malik.
His UFC record isn’t pretty. Stoltzfus has lost six of his last eight appearances, including consecutive unanimous decisions against Nursulton Ruziboev and Kelvin Gastelum. However, he has also shown that overlooking him can be dangerous.
Stoltzfus knocked out Marc-AndrΓ© Barriault in the opening round in 2024 and submitted Punahele Soriano with a rear-naked choke. He might lack elite speed and athleticism, but he isn’t completely harmless anywhere.
That gives him a potential route to making this fight interesting. Stoltzfus needs to survive Abdul-Malik’s explosive moments, force extended exchanges and make the favorite work. The longer this becomes an exhausting, uncomfortable fight rather than an athletic contest, the better Stoltzfus’ chances become.

What happens if Abdul-Malik starts doubting himself?
For me, this is the biggest question surrounding the fight. Skill for skill, I struggle to find many areas where I clearly favor Stoltzfus. Abdul-Malik has the power advantage, speed advantage and wrestling ability to dictate where much of the fight takes place.
But Stoltzfus probably has the edge in experience and proven grit. If Abdul-Malik comes out hesitant after the Belgaroui loss, Stoltzfus needs to recognize it immediately. Pressure him, make him exchange, force him to defend and see whether those doubts start creeping in.
If this turns into a nasty dog fight late in the second and third rounds, suddenly I become much less comfortable laying an enormous price on Abdul-Malik.
Stoltzfus’ defensive reactions leave him vulnerable against exactly the type of explosive offense Abdul-Malik brings. There will probably be several moments where Abdul-Malik launches something big, and Stoltzfus needs to see all of them coming. Eventually, I think one lands.
Mansur Abdul-Malik vs Dustin Stoltzfus prediction
There are legitimate questions surrounding Abdul-Malik after his first career defeat, but this looks like a favorable matchup for him to rebuild some confidence. And it should be an easy fight in terms of predictions.
Stoltzfus has the experience and toughness to punish Abdul-Malik if the favorite mentally unravels. I just don’t think he has the athletic tools to consistently put Abdul-Malik into those uncomfortable positions.
Abdul-Malik should be able to dictate the range, mix in his wrestling when necessary and use his massive speed advantage to create openings on the feet.
And that is where Stoltzfus’ defense worries me. Abdul-Malik doesn’t need to slowly pick him apart with perfect combinations. He can create a finish with one explosive movement. A flying knee, spinning backfist or another unconventional attack could be enough to catch Stoltzfus before he can react.
Mansur Abdul-Malik vs Dustin Stoltzfus prediction: Mansur Abdul-Malik by TKO, round 2
How to bet Mansur Abdul-Malik vs Dustin Stoltzfus
Abdul-Malik still has plenty to prove after the Belgaroui defeat. UFC 330 should tell us whether that loss was simply a valuable lesson for a young prospect or the first sign of bigger problems.
At -650, there is virtually no interest in playing Abdul-Malik straight. The Abdul-Malik KO/TKO prop around -105 to +110 is much more appealing. Stoltzfus has been stopped before, and this matchup gives Abdul-Malik an opportunity to return to the aggressive finishing style that originally made him such an intriguing prospect.
