Ty Miller delivered another statement performance at UFC Vegas 120, overwhelming Billy Ray Goff before finishing the welterweight fight with a third-round TKO.

The undefeated prospect controlled the action from the opening bell Saturday night at the revamped Meta Apex in Las Vegas. Miller used his length and sharp striking to keep Goff at the end of his punches throughout the fight.

Miller Controls the Fight From the Start

Miller quickly established the distance he wanted.

His reach made it difficult for Goff to get into the pocket, while Miller repeatedly found openings with his jab and combinations. He mixed attacks to the body and head, adding kicks and uppercuts as Goff struggled to respond.

The damage continued to pile up as the rounds progressed. Miller’s accuracy and variety kept Goff under constant pressure without allowing the welterweight to establish much of his own offense.

By the end of the second round, Miller had put together a dominant striking display.

One Punch Ends the Fight

Goff appeared to have suffered an injury around his right eye during the bout. Despite the concern, he returned to his corner and was sent back out for the third round.

Miller immediately took advantage.

The undefeated fighter connected with a clean right hand that badly hurt Goff and left him unable to defend himself properly. Miller followed up as the referee moved in to stop the contest.

The official stoppage came in the third round, giving Miller another impressive finish and keeping his undefeated record intact.

Miller’s performance should put more attention on his name heading into the next stage of his UFC career. His combination of range, accuracy and finishing ability made for a difficult night for Goff from the opening exchange to the final sequence.
