Arman Tsarukyan is no longer interested in rewarding Justin Gaethje after the former interim lightweight champion turned down a truck that had been promised to him following UFC White House.
Tsarukyan previously revealed that one of his friends won millions after betting on Gaethje to defeat Ilia Topuria for the lightweight title. As a gesture of appreciation, the top contender planned to buy Gaethje a new truck.
Gaethje Explains Why He Said No
Speaking with Joe Rogan, Gaethje explained why he was uncomfortable accepting the gift.
“I’m not taking this truck from f—king Arman,”
“I’m going to have to ride around in a f—king truck that a dude bought for me every day?”
“We didn’t shake on it, he does not owe it to me.”
Tsarukyan Responds With Frustration
Gaethje’s comments sparked a heated reaction from Tsarukyan, who made it clear he was offended by the rejection.
“F*ck it, we’re not going to give it to him,”
“Yesterday, I watched the video and I was shocked, like what the f—k, if you don’t want it, f—k you. I’m going to f—k him up in the fight. I can’t wait.”
Tsarukyan continued his criticism, questioning why Gaethje did not simply accept the gesture or pass it on to someone else.
“u. Say ‘thank you’ instead of being rude, like what the f—k? I give you the truck, we bought the truck, you’re saying, ‘I’m not even going to drive it.”
“If you don’t need it, you have friends, family, parents, just give it away”
“Why are you such an assh*le?”
Is Arman Next For the Title?
It is unclear if Arman Tsarukhyan will be Justin Gaethje’s next fight. While he is the number one contender, Justin has stated that he does not plan to fight again this year.
Plus, there has been talk of an Ilia Topuria, Charles Oliveira or even Max Holloway rematch or even a showdown with Conor McGregor as “The Highlight’s” Next fight. This could leave Arman without an opponent, or perhaps fighting for an interim belt.
