Sean Strickland claimed he was barred from attending the UFC’s historic White House card, but Dana White says that simply isn’t true.
The former middleweight champion suggested on social media that his criticism of President Donald Trump led to him being excluded from Sunday’s event.
White Fires Back at Strickland’s Claims
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, White dismissed the accusation and insisted no one has been banned.
“Of course, Sean Strickland isn’t. Sean Strickland is banned from humanity. We don’t want him near any human beings anywhere. Fcking shows up at Power Slap, he starts fights.”
“He made it very clear he didn’t want to be a part of this event and now apparently he’s banned.”
“Nobody is banned. Nobody’s music is banned. No media members have been banned.”
Dana Blames Limited Seating
White explained that the issue is capacity, not exclusion. The White House event has just 4,300 seats available, with many tickets allocated through President Trump’s invited guest list.
“There’s only 4,300 tickets to actually seat,”
He also addressed rumors involving media credentials and walkout music restrictions.
“There’s a lot of bullshit floating around out there right now,”
“I want as many people to be inside of this thing and experience it as possible. If we could have done more seats, I would have done more.”
