Darren Till’s next challenge in bare-knuckle boxing is officially locked in. The former UFC title challenger will meet veteran knockout artist Yoel Romero in the main event of BKFC’s Sept. 26 card at the AO Arena in Manchester, England.

The matchup was announced by BKFC president David Feldman and will be contested at a 190-pound catchweight.

Till returns after successful BKFC debut

Till made the move to BKFC earlier this year after signing a multi-fight contract with the promotion. He debuted in May and overcame an early scare after being dropped by a flash knockdown in the opening round.

The Liverpool native responded in emphatic fashion, rallying to stop Aaron Chalmers with a devastating knockout and immediately established himself as one of the promotion’s top attractions.

His second appearance now presents a much tougher test against one of the most explosive veterans in combat sports.

Romero looks to bounce back

Romero enters the bout with previous bare-knuckle experience of his own. The former UFC middleweight title challenger earned a knockout victory in his BKFC debut in 2025 before competing in another bare-knuckle contest under a Russian promotion.

That outing ended in a controversial decision loss, but Romero now returns to BKFC looking to get back in the win column.

Heavy hitters collide in Manchester

The matchup brings together two fighters known for their knockout power and aggressive styles. Till will have the hometown crowd behind him in Manchester, while Romero aims to spoil the occasion with another highlight-reel finish.

With both men carrying proven finishing ability, the Sept. 26 main event has all the ingredients for an explosive showdown inside the BKFC ring.
