Conor McGregor’s heartbreaking UFC 329 injury has already fueled speculation about what the future holds beyond the Octagon. Among those weighing in is Logan Paul, who believes the former two-division UFC champion would be a perfect fit for WWE and has openly expressed interest in facing him inside the squared circle.

McGregor’s long-awaited return came to a crushing end just 69 seconds into his main event against Max Holloway when he suffered a torn ACL and meniscus, abruptly ending his comeback and raising fresh questions about the next chapter of his career.

Logan Paul Questions McGregor’s Fighting Future

Speaking on the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Paul said he never expected McGregor to win after such a long absence from competition.

Paul pointed to McGregor’s five-year layoff and questioned whether the Irish star had the right preparation to return at the highest level.

“At the moment, Conor is doing WWE because he is incapable of fighting.”

“He fooled everyone before this fight, just like Mike Tyson fooled everyone before he fought my brother.”

“This wasn’t a Jon Jones five years off. The stuff he was doing in the five years was not conducive to that of an elite fighter.”

Paul Had Already Floated a WWE Match

Despite McGregor’s stated goal of returning for the final fight on his UFC contract, Paul believes a move to WWE would be a better fit. The social media star revealed that he contacted WWE officials shortly after McGregor’s loss with an idea for a high-profile matchup.

“I don’t think the WWE will let me fight anyone.”

“I texted my boss after Conor lost… ‘Bro, Conor’s cooked. Do something with him. Make a bag. Let me fight him. Big WWE star vs. big WWE star, because that’s what he is now.'”
